My name is Susan Davidson, and I have been a member of ACAT since 2008. I am honoured to serve on the ACAT Executive as Chair along with the two Vice-chairs, Heather Green and Garnett Martin. I am a Wheel Trans customer so I certainly can appreciate the service’s strengths and fully understand where improvements are required.

The Advisory Committee on Accessible Transportation (ACAT) was established to provide advice to the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) on the wide range of accessibility requirements of the TTC ridership. ACAT has many challenging issues to tackle in 2009, including: ensuring that the new fleet of Wheel-Trans buses and accessible city streetcars (LRTs) meet our customers’ accessibility needs for years to come.
