Schedule writers manually scheduled trips on large boards and the information was then transcribed onto typed sheets for the drivers. By the end of 1994, a new computer scheduling system was implemented.

Our improved Wheel-Trans scheduling system will be in place in 2010 and will improve vehicle on-time performance. In addition, the new Friendly Bus will be equipped with a GPS/AVL system which will track our vehicles and allow our Callout system to contact customers 10 minutes before arrival.
Customers now have the option of booking, confirming or cancelling their rides through a Reservationist, on the RideLine or online at mywheel-trans.ttc.ca. The automated Callout now calls customers to confirm their rides.
