Community Bus and Community Link
Wheel-Trans operates Community Bus routes and Community Link services to Toronto neighbourhoods with a high density of seniors, medical facilities, community facilities, and shopping centres. We are pleased that this service is able to accommodate all members of the community, including ambulatory and wheelchair/scooter passengers.
- Community Bus services operate along fixed routes with regular schedules.
- Community Link services provide scheduled departure times from popular locations and connect to accessible bus or subway service. Community Link services are provided by Wheel-Trans buses that are also operating in door to door service.
Anyone can use these services. Regular TTC fares apply. Community Link services use smaller buses and so priority is given to seniors and individuals using mobility devices.

ACAT – Advisory Committee on Accessible Transportation
Reporting to the Toronto Transit Commission, the Advisory Committee on Accessible Transportation was established as an advisory committee of the Commission to provide a mechanism for ongoing public participation in accessible transportation in the City of Toronto on a voluntary basis.
If you are a senior, or you have a disability, the Advisory Committee on Accessible Transportation (ACAT) is your representative to the TTC. Reporting directly to the Commission, ACAT provides guidance and policy advice on how we can improve conventional, Wheel-Trans and community bus services to better meet your needs.
ACAT meetings are held on a monthly basis, on the last Thursday of every month, at TTC Head Office. For more information, please select on a link below:
