In addition to giving you detailed written directions, Trip Planner highlights your trip plan on a map. This map is dynamic, which means that you can zoom in and out and move the map around to better see your trip details.

  • Click the multidirectional arrows to move the map up, down and side to side. Click the red circular button to place your highlighted trip plan in the centre of the map.
  • Click the + and – buttons to zoom in and zoom out.
  • Click the map style buttons to change the style of map. The default map view is Normal. The Satellite view shows the map as an image taken from space. The Hybrid view shows the map as an image taken from space but also shows street names and landmarks.
  • The green pin shows where your starting point is. Keep in mind that this is not necessarily your first stop on the TTC. You may have to walk a short distance to begin your journey on the TTC.
  • Your route on the TTC is highlighted.
  • The purple pins are transfer points.
  • The red pin shows your destination. Keep in mind that this is not necessarily your last stop on the TTC. You may need to walk the last part of your journey.
