  • TTC Office TTC New Year’s Eve service free after midnight, Jan. 1
    December 30, 2010
    The Toronto Transit Commission will offer free service after midnight this New Year’s Eve, in addition to extending subway and most surface route service to 4 a.m. Parking will also be free at most TTC parking lots.
  • TTC holiday service schedule
    December 17, 2010 - The following service changes will be in effect from monday, december 20, 2010 to sunday, january 2, 2011.
  • TTC United Way Campaign hits new record
    December 16, 2010 - TTC employees and pensioners have raised $1,415,000 for the United Way of Toronto, a new TTC record.
  • TTC New Year’s Eve service free after midnight, Jan. 1
    December 15, 2010 - The Toronto Transit Commission will offer free service after midnight this New Year’s Eve.
  • New TTC Commission appointed
    December 8, 2010 - Toronto City Council today appointed nine City Councillors (listed below) to sit on the Toronto Transit Commission’s board.
  • Early closure of portion of Yonge Subway
    December 3, 2010 - In order to undertake scheduled subway track maintenance, the TTC will be closing the Yonge Subway north of Bloor-Yonge Station approximately 90 minutes earlier each night, starting at 12:01 a.m., from Sunday, December 5 through Friday, December 17.
  • Annual holiday toy drive aims to stuff five TTC buses
    December 3, 2010 - On December 3, 4 and 5, TTC employees will be holding the annual Stuff-the-Bus toy drive.
