TTC Chair Adam Giambrone and Senior TTC staff rolled up their sleeves and did their part to make the TTC and Toronto a little cleaner during the Mayor’s annual 20-minute makeover.
TTC staff recommend Bombardier for new streetcar order
April 24, 2009 - A staff report was made public today that recommends Bombardier Transportation Canada Inc. be awarded a contract worth a total of $1.22 billion (excluding taxes), for 204 new low-floor light rail vehicles (LRV), with a delivery date beginning in 2011.

TTC extends Next Train Arrival Information
April 14, 2009 - The Toronto Transit Commission today increased the number of stations to feature the Next Train Arrival information on the video display screens located at select subway station platforms.
TTC Metropasses, Weekly Passes are tax deductible
April 6, 2009 - The TTC reminds customers that monthly and weekly transit passes are eligible for a federal income tax credit.
