The TTC, Transit Expansion Department is hiring for positions on the Eglinton – Scarborough Crosstown transit project. The Eglinton – Scarborough Crosstown transit project is a 25 km transit line through the centre of Toronto, with a new 19 km underground component (along Eglinton Avenue from Black Creek to Kennedy Station) and continuing to the Scarborough City Centre on the existing 6 km elevated infrastructure which will be replaced. The cost of the Eglinton – Scarborough Crosstown transit project is $8.18 Billion with committed funding by the Province of Ontario and Metrolinx. The Toronto Transit Commission is delivering the Eglinton – Scarborough Crosstown transit project on behalf of Metrolinx.
