You can claim the Federal Transit Tax Credit for these passes:

  • Monthly Metropass (Adult and Senior/Student)
  • Weekly Pass (Adult and Senior/Student)
  • GTA Pass

Tax Credit

  • A signature area is included on the back of all TTC Passes.
  • To claim the Federal Transit Tax Credit, CRA requires that the claimant sign the Pass. Please note that the CRA signature requirement does not affect the transferability of TTC Passes.
  • The Weekly Pass and the GTA Pass are eligible for the Federal Transit Tax Credit under certain terms and conditions - the detailed terms can be found at the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) website provided below.
