TTC employees receive merit awards

Seven TTC employees were congratulated by TTC Chair Adam Giambrone and the Commission recently. Four employees received merit awards for acting quickly to prevent suicides in two separate incidents. Three other employees received special acknowledgement for participating in the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Torch Run.

Elsewhere across the TTC, CGM Gary Webster presented merit awards to a pair of employees who witnessed a serious car accident and rushed to pull two people trapped inside one of the smoke-filled vehicles.
