Canadian Red Cross takes collection in subway

TTC employees, and customers of all ages, donated to the Haiti relief effort in January. The Canadian Red Cross raised nearly $87,000 during a weeklong collection at several subway stations. Haiti and its capital, Port-au-Prince, were devastated by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. Over a dozen Canadians were confirmed dead and hundreds were still missing as of the end of January.
