Toronto Legion's Poppy campaign kick-off at Davisville Station

The valuable contributions made by Canadian war and peacekeeping veterans were saluted by the TTC at the Toronto Legion’s Poppy campaign kick-off at Davisville Station. The TTC held a two-minute stop-and-stay of silence across the transit system on Remembrance Day, and provided free transit for veterans and a travelling companion. TTC Operators also flashed “Remembering Our Veterans” on their destination signs in the week leading up to Nov. 11.
