A holiday message from Gary Webster
CGM message to employees

Season’s Greetings
November-December 2009
Happy Holidays! I would like to extend good wishes to all TTC employees, pensioners and their families this festive season.
Whether you are working through the holiday period, vacationing at home or visiting friends and family abroad, I would like to wish you a safe and joyous season filled with goodwill and happiness.
This is a special time of year for appreciating those that are close to us, but also for reflecting on the year that is quickly winding down. For the TTC, 2009 has been a year filled with significant milestones related to Transit City, a new streetcar fleet, the Spadina subway extension, and ongoing quality of service to our customers.
In 2009, we continued to make great strides with Work Safe-Home Safe. This time of year is a reminder to us all of the importance of family and friends, and the TTC’s commitment to ensuring you go home in the same condition in which you came to work. In 2010, that commitment will continue, unabated.
I look forward to working with you all in the year ahead as the TTC continues to do what it does best: providing safe and courteous service to the millions of riders who rely on us everyday.
On behalf of the Commission and TTC management, Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year.
Sincerely,
Gary Webster
