Summer destinations such as the Toronto Zoo, Exhibition Place and Liberty Village got a lot easier to get to with your bike courtesy of the better way.

The TTC introduced 18 new bike rack routes just in time for Bike Month in Toronto, which kicked-off on May 26.

The 18 new routes are:

  • 61 Avenue Rd North
  • 125 Drewry
  • 105 Dufferin North
  • 193 Exhibition Rocket
  • 39 Finch East
  • 14 Glencairn
  • 38 Highland Creek
  • 129 McCowan North
  • 133 Neilson
  • 63 Ossington
  • 316 Ossington
  • 134 Progress
  • 109 Ranee
  • 161 Rogers Rd
  • 85 Sheppard East
  • 385 Sheppard East
  • 53 Steeles East
  • 353 Steeles East

Bike racks were introduced on buses in 2006. Routes already equipped with racks are:

  • 7 Bathurst
  • 310 Bathurst
  • 29 Dufferin
  • 329 Dufferin
  • 47 Lansdowne
  • 98 Willowdale-Senlac

The TTC now has a total of 24 bike-friendly routes. The entire bus fleet will be equipped by 2010.
